I wear many hats.
I am a film curator for the project Support to EU Film Festivals, whose primary mission is to enhance the quality of EU Film Festivals organised by the delegations of the European Union worldwide.
I am an external expert for an important European funding body, where I assess the commercial and artistic potential of international co-productions.
I am an Examiner in Film Studies for the International Baccalaureate.
I have been lecturing and holding conferences for festivals and universities based in France, Ireland, Latvia, India, Romania, Indonesia and Poland.
From 2017-2021, I served as a member of the editorial board of Alphaville, University College Cork’s academic journal of film and screen media.
I am a member of FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics), FEDEORA (Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean), ICS (International Cinephile Society) and NECS (European Network for Cinema and Media Studies).
In 2021, I served as a FIPRESCI juror at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, and as a member of the Cineuropa Jury at the Sarajevo Film Festival.
In 2022, I served as a juror of the shorts competition at Rome-based Irish Film Festa. I was also one of the jurors awarding the Irish Film and Television Academy’s Prize for Best Animated Short.
